1. Terms of Use
This website https://woodlife.co.uk/basecamp (/basecamp) is owned and operated by Woodlife.
All intellectual property rights, including copyright in all content and communication belongs to Woodlife. By reading the Terms of Use you are agreeing that the content and property of /basecamp courses (including Master Tracker Programme) cannot be copied, reproduced, modified, stored, redistributed or exploited commercially in any way without permission from Woodlife.
2. Acceptance of these terms and conditions
By reading these terms and conditions, verbally agreeing on the telephone or making payment on the website you are accepting all terms and conditions. Woodlife reserves the right to change any of these conditions at any time deemed necessary to reflect current market and economic conditions.
3. Terms of Use of the Website
Woodlife resrerves the right to change the content, which includes content, material, prices, offers or time period at any time for /basecamp courses. We do not provide a warranty or guarantee of its accuracy, completeness, suitability, timeliness or performance of information or content in the website. If there are errors in the information provided in the content of the website we expressly exclude liability for these inaccuracies, to the fullest extent that the law permits.
You can use any of the information or content at your own risk for which Woodlife will not be liable. It will be your responsibility to ensure that any products you purchase are suitable to your current requirements.
All material on this website is copyright and owned by Woodlife. This includes all material, video and audio, graphics, content, design, appearance. As per the Terms and Conditions no material on this website or related courses can be copied or reused by anyone without the permission of Woodlife.
You may not use any of the above materials for financial gain. Any breach of these terms may result in a criminal offence being committed.
This website contains links to other websites and these links are provided to enable the user a convenient way to access additional information. Woodlife cannot take responsibility for the content and access provisions of these external websites. Users must refer to that website’s terms and conditions of use.
4. Course Requirements
By starting courses with /basecamp you (the student) confirm that you meet the following minimum requirements of the course:
All students must be at least 16 years old at the time of booking, unless signed permission is received from an appropriate adult over 18.
All students must have a competent native level of English and possess a reasonable competence in English language reading, writing and speaking skills.
By making a booking with Woodlife it is assumed that the client satisfies the above conditions and is deemed to have a competent level of English. The client, by making a booking, takes full responsibility in determining whether the course is suitable for their level of English. Woodlife takes no responsibility if the student is unable to complete and pass the course.
Woodlife does not accept any liability for any losses, costs or expenses incurred by or on behalf of a student in connection with a student’s insufficient language ability.
The Client will make a full declaration of any information deemed to be relevant by Woodlife.
The Client agrees to follow any of the policies and regulations set down by Woodlife.
5. Bookings
Booking can be made online on our website https://woodlife.co.uk. The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and by paying for the courses accepts the terms and conditions. Woodlife states that by paying for a booking you have read the terms and conditions. You are also responsible for the accuracy of your personal details. Woodlife will only deal with you in the event of cancellations or disputes.
You must make full payment at the time of booking. Woodlife does not accept deposit or partial payments or instalment payments for online courses. Once your booking has been accepted you will receive an email within 48 hours from the time of purchase. The email will provide you with access details for /basecamp and the course including a commencement date if applicable. Once you log-in to the course a contract exists between you and Woodlife.
6. Price of the /basecamp courses
All prices that are advertised on our website are correct at the time of booking. However, Woodlife reserves the right and discretion to change our prices at any time. Please check our website for up-to-date prices and special offers before you book. Woodlife reserves the right to change any of its prices at any time.
7. Procedure for changing or cancelling a booking
Cooling off Period – Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulation 2000 you the consumer have the legal right to cancel the contract between you and Woodlife during the period of 14 days from date of the issue of the registration email, which is when the contract starts. This is known as the “cooling off period”. If you decide to cancel the course within this cooling off period, then you must inform us within the 14 days from the confirmation email. Once we receive your written cancellation, in form of an email we will refund your course fees within 30 days.
Once you have completed the cooling off period of 14 days you will be under the full cancellation conditions of courses which are 100% non-refundable.
If you login to any course you will be deemed to have started the course and will no longer be able to get a full refund, even if it is within the 14-day period. However, if you need to change the start date of a course for any other reason, our online learning site manager will consider this, and you will be able to change the start date for a fee of £30 if agreed.
You must inform us of your intent to cancel by writing to info@woodlife.co.uk in the form of an email. Once we have received your written cancellation email we will refund you within 30 days of receiving your letter and deduct any credit card surcharge, if applicable. Once you have cancelled you booking your login details will be cancelled immediately.
8. Registration
Once Woodlife has received your payment for the course Woodlife will email you a login username and password for https://woodlife.co.uk/basecamp within 48 hours. This will give you access to https://woodlife.co.uk/basecamp online learning site only and not the particular course. The online courses and the relevant login details are solely for your use. Another party cannot use these details.
9. Enrolment
Following registration you may be asked to enrol onto the course in question or you may be automatically enrolled. The commencement date of courses are as advertised or you may be provided access to commence the course immediately.
10. Time period for the completion
All /basecamp courses are designed for you to have unlimited access. You will have access for the lifetime of the course for as long as Woodlife continues to run it and guaranteed access for at least 12-months after you enroll onto the particular course unless otherwise stated in the Special Conditions for that course.
11. Special conditions for ‘Master Tracker Programme.’
Master Tracker Programme has two routes:
- Formal
- Casual
If you undertake the formal route you are declaring that you wish to progress through the course and become receive a certificate at its conclusion. The formal route will give you access to a tutor who will provide you with assignment feedback. You will also be able to contact the personal tutor.
You may swap between the casual route and the formal route at any time and at no extra cost.
Personal access to a tutor will cease after 12-months from initial access to the course when undertaking the formal route unless you apply for an extension. The following rates apply when requesting access to a personal tutor following the end of the 12-month course duration:
1 month – £15
3 months – £25
6 months – £35
12 months – £50
You will have access for the lifetime of /basecamp courses, for as long as Woodlife continues to run the Master Tracker Programme and guaranteed access for at least 12-months after you enroll onto the the Master Tracker Programme.
12. How to pass the course
Purchasing a course does not automatically guarantee that you will pass the course. If you fail to meet the requirements of passing a course, then Woodlife reserves the right to fail you.
12.1 Master Tracker Programme
To successfully pass the Master Tracker Programme you must satisfy the following requirements:

- Complete all course content
- Complete all activities, assignments, quizzes, assessments each with a 80% pass mark
- Be signed-off by a Woodlife instructor
13. Hosting and device requirements
All /basecamp online courses are hosted in the UK by UK2.net. The online learning platform is Moodle. /basesecamp is web-based can be viewed on mobile, tablet and pc formats. If you are having any problems viewing our website then please contact us at info@woodlife.co.uk
14. System Maintenance and Upgrades
At certain times our systems and software programs will be updated. In the event of an update will we endeavour to do this work as quickly as possible. However, if our systems are not working for a period longer than 72 hours then will allow our candidates to extend the course for no more than 72 hours.
This is not limited to just System Maintenance and Upgrades. It should be noted that no refund will be given for the unavailability of the website lasting up to 72 Hours. However, if our systems are not working for a period longer than 72 hours then we will allow students to extend their course for no more than 72 hours.
In the unlikely event that the course becomes unavailable to the client for over 7 days due to technical reasons during the term of the online course, the client will be refunded the cost of the course on a monthly pro rata rate but only if the course is unavailable for a period of 7 days or more up to the 12 month duration of the course.
15. Limitation of Liability
Woodlife does not accept any liability for any loss or additional expense caused by delay or disruption to travel services, weather conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, strikes, wars, floods, sickness or force majeure. Such losses or additional expenses are your responsibility. Force majeure represents unusual or unforeseeable circumstances, which include: war, terrorist activities, riots, natural disasters or nuclear disasters such as fire, flood or adverse weather conditions.
16. Complaints
If at any time, you are unhappy with the /basecamp service then please contact us immediately at info@woodlife.co.uk and we will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible but no more than 30 days following the receipt of your complaint.
17. Accuracy of Marketing Materials
Woodlife makes every effort to ensure that the marketing material in our website is up to date and accurate. We take no responsibility for any information that is deemed incorrect and we will endeavour to do our best to inform you of any changes to the course. We reserve the right to change any of the information in our website at any time we feel appropriate.
18. The Law and its Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of and in connection with them or their subject matter (including no contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English Law and the Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising out of it.
19. Third Party Rights
A person that has no connection to the course shall have no rights in the contract.
20. Severance
If any party finds any of the terms and conditions in this document to be deemed illegal, invalid or unenforceable then these parts will be deleted while the other parts of the terms and conditions will be deemed valid.

Please be aware that you as an individual can choose to allow your personal information to be used by businesses at any time. You can manage your preferences and computer systems to disable setting on your personal computer.
23. The Woodlife and /basecamp commitment
/basecamp has a commitment to help you get the most from your online courses. Tutors are here to help you by giving you constructive feedback and advice. Any queries will be dealt with within 48 hours of receipt. /bascamp operates an equal opportunities policy.
24. Privacy Notice and Policy
In this Privacy Policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to: Woodlife and /basecamp
In summary, we receive and store any information you enter on our website (Checkout, Quizzes, Assignment uploads, Downloads and contact forms) or give us in any other way. We use the information that you provide for responding to your requests, providing our services and communicating with you about future promotions, your course duration, extensions to your course, the latest jobs and new courses.
We collect information so that we may provide you with those Services you have requested from us.
Some data we collect from you may be considered to be Personal Data (data that is capable, in some manner, of identifying you). We will not collect more data than is necessary to provide our Services to you. This Privacy Policy provides you with the details on how we handle your data and describes the ways you can manage your data with us.
25. User Provided Information
We collect information you provide when you purchase a course from us. This includes Personal Information. Personal Information includes data such as: your name, telephone number, email address, and other data collected that could directly or indirectly identify you. When you visit our website, we may send one or more cookies.
26. Log File Information
When you use our website, our system automatically record certain information that your web browser sends whenever you visit any website. 27. Progress
Our online site manager and identified tutors will have access to your progress and your progress is monitored. If you have elected to progress through the formal route, we will look at your progress at regular intervals to advise you on your progress.
28. Quiz and assignment results
We will also monitor you quiz and assignment results in order to provide you with developmental feedback. We will cease doing this at your request and you may elect to undertake the casual route at any time.
29. Alerts and messaging
/basecamp and Master Tracker Programme have their own (separate) messaging and alert systems. You may change any of these settings in the preferences area of your profile menu.
30. Third Party Links
The website may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.
If you submit personally identifiable information to us through the website, then we may use such information to send you our latest promotions, updates and information on your course duration.
We may use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial, marketing, or other messages without additional consent. We may share non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous user usage data, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) with third parties to assist us in understanding the usage patterns for certain content, services, advertisements, promotions, and/or functionality on the website.
